For my Research and Development Module for my final year set the task of beginning to explore our ideas for our Final Year Major Project Over the summer before beginning lessons. I came to the decision that i wanted to build a portfolio of Fashion, Beauty and Portrait photography for my Major Project as well as gaining a head start for when i graduate as i will have a portfolio to use. I began by testing and experimenting with how light work’s in three different locations. I wanted to test how daylight and artificial light worked together as well as how well artificial light worked in dark settings. For my first location i chose to shoot in open daylight at a big park, my second location i chose to work in daylight shaded my trees and a big church building and for my third location i chose to shoot in my friends basement.
